Emory Trail is a 10’ wide north to south bike and pedestrian trail that will run parallel to Emory Avenue. Once completed, the trail will course from Vine Street (U.S. 192) to Ernest Street. At its midpoint, it will intersect with the Kissimmee Loop Trail, which runs along Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Construction on this project began on September 9, 2020, and is projected to take 180 days to complete. 

Update: April 7, 2021

Emory Trail is nearly 100% complete, with only remedial items left. Our projected project completion timeline is the end of April 2021. 

Update: February 15, 2021

100% of the concrete has been laid for Emory Trail. Crews are moving to complete work on the final curb ramps and bollards as this project nears its completion. 

Update: January 6, 2021

Concrete has been poured for Emory Trail from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd to Oak Street. Crews are also relocating fire hydrants along the new trail route.

Update: October 29, 2020

Concrete has been poured for the Emory Trail project from Ernest Street to Mabbette Street. Crews will continue to pour concrete for the new trail segment from Mabbette all the way to Vine Street.
